            “A Father’s Reply To Blog # 19
While it is true that I have problems with certain types of pastas (mainly tortellini and spaghetti), I have been able to eat other shapes and sizes.  On the flip side, I am now able to drink orange juice at 11:00 PM, I can have as much spaghetti sauce (except on spaghetti) as I want, I eat Oreos all day long.  Other than those few pastas, I can eat ANYTHING.  Since my surgery I have eaten hot chicken wings, chicken tidbits, fried clams, New England clam chowder, pizza (traditional and Dominos), bean burritos (from Taco Bell no less), quesadillas, ice cream, Arby’s roast beef, hamburgers, lentil soup, chicken parmesan, dirty dogs, french fries, milk shakes, Chipotle burritos and burrito bowls, waffles, pancakes, crepes, a cornucopia of different chicken dishes, as well as almost anything else you can think of (still don’t like Chinese food).  I can do anything and everything I did before the surgery already and feel as well as I ever had.  The important thing to remember is that there is one thing I can not do…get STOMACH CANCER!  There is a positive lining to everything.  Always remember:

Not Getting Stomach Cancer > Eating Tortellini.
